Therapist

Kim Kelly, LCAS, CTS

Kim Kelly is a fully Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and a Certified Trauma Specialist. a balance of Faith and Evidence-based Clinical Treatment. Her counseling approach incorporates a balance of Faith and Evidence-based Clinical Treatment. She holds several 'Train the Trainer' certifications for Mental Health Staff development, inclusive of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Rights, and Service Documentation. For over 20 years she has provided support to the community through individualized and group substance abuse treatment for children and adults. Kim's ultimate dream is to write and receive a grant to provide treatment and care targeting pregnant women or women with children who have challenges with addiction(s). Kim was born in Baltimore MD and raised as a foster child in New Bern, NC by a staunch Christian woman whom she refers to as her 'Granma-Lucy'. Being adopted taught her to be gracious with love, caring, and compassion. Kim continues to 'give back' by helping others find a place of hope, wellness, and stability, especially children and teens. She was a foster mother for 10 years. She is a born-again Christian serving in the role of Youth President and Teen Sunday School Teacher at her church. She looks forward to the future in wonder of what else God has in store for her.

Therapist

Latina Williams

Whether you're facing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, or depression, my mission is to let you know that you are not alone, and I'm here to help. My 19-year background in community mental health, crisis intervention and trauma, substance abuse, and cognitive behavioral therapy has provided me with the experience and tools to facilitate change. I am also committed to racial justice and LGBTQIA affirmation. We'll work on coping skills and understanding your behavior's effects, empowering you to shape your narrative. I am a lover and passionate servant of Jesus Christ, yet your spirituality and religion will always be honored in our sessions. I'm a therapist who deeply understands personal challenges. I have survived and thrived despite my own trauma. We are facing societal pressures, trauma, relationship issues, and a host of challenges due to mental health and substance abuse. I think of our sessions together as a safe space, a supportive tool to navigate life's ups and downs. I believe in interrupting negative thoughts and feelings that chip away at our self-worth.

By teaching coping skills, discussing the effects of behaviors, and putting in perspective the relationship between who you are and who you want to be, we can work together to craft the future you desire. You are important, your story matters, and you'll always be heard, supported, and validated.
